Life Changes . . .
Throughout our lives we go through many life changes that can sometimes be difficult. Over the past few years mine have been significant. I won’t bore you with all of my experiences in this post, however this last one is is where I am now. As an educator for 40 years I have enjoyed teaching and being an advisor and coach of many students and I continued this year even after a diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma Stage 4 of the Lungs. Two of my kids had babies (along with already having a 4 year old grandchild) and life just got a little crazy and it was time to focus on my health, ministry, and my family! Too many irons in the fire is not healthy for anyone. God has blessed me over the past year and I have only had to take a pill and I believe He will continue to stabilize or remove my cancer completely. My three grandsons are a joy and my youngest son is getting married. Wow! That is a lot. I hope this post leaves you all encouraged that God has a plan for us even beyond what we are comfortable with. I will take some time now to ask God to guide me in direction for His plan for my life as I spend time in His Word and in prayer to find the passion for outreach that He wants me in. I plan to share my journey over the past year and in the future with my healing. One thing I have learned with this difficult challenge is that God is with me in all I do.
